A translation of Font's diary, Sept. 29, 1775-June 2, 1776, copied by him at Ures, June 5-23, 1776. With note, Translation of Extracts from a Manuscript in the Guadalajara Parochial Church Archives ... in which the words, "Guadalajara Parochial Church," have been written by Alexander S. Taylor, over an erasure which appears to have been: "California Government." Note at end in pencil, San Jose, 1852, by M. Peralta?, that the document is no longer at Guadalajara. A daily record of Anza's second expedition. "Presented by Gen. M.G. Vallejo to Bancroft's Pacific Library. 1874." With preface in Thomas Savage's handwriting and a facsimile of Font's signature.
